International Arabian horse conference underway in Qatar
The 2011 World Arabian Horse Organisation Conference (WAHO) is well underway in Doha, Qatar.
The 20th conference of its kind, the 2011 WAHO is being held by the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, which invites delegates from around the world to attend the week-long gathering.
From 1 to 8 November 2011, the WAHO offers an extensive programme of conferences and tours open to delegates. For more information on the full programme, head over to the WAHO website.
This year’s conference is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa al-Thani.
WAHO was founded back in 1970. From its inception, the organisation’s most important role is to “”maintain throughout the world the purity of the blood of the horses of the Arabian breed.”

Ten horses removed from Arabian Horse Ranch in Minnesota
Ten horses have been removed from the NV Arabian Horse Ranch in Minnesota by the Animal Humane Society (AHS).
